Today was our
second day in Sydney. We woke up at 7:00 am, got ready and went downstairs to
get breakfast. We left the hotel at 8:00 am. First we walked to the war
memorial but unfortunately the building was being renovated. Despite this
misfortune we had a great morning with lots of information thanks to our guide,
Maureen, who gave us the most important facts about the memorial and the first
world war. We even had a little rain but that didn’t stop our guide. She continued
her story under the shelter of a tree.

After our visit
to the memorial we took the bus to the Paddy’s market. Because all of us wanted
to go to the Hard Rock Café, our teachers made a little detour. We all bought a
sweater as a souvenir. Then we ate a sandwich in the market and went on.

We took the bus
to Bondi beach. There we laid down, got some rest and had some fun in the ocean.
It was really nice because of the big waves.

Sadly enough,
after only an hour we had to leave to go to our next stop: Pitt street. There
we had some free time to shop and buy as much as we wanted (which wasn’t much
;-) ). Then we went to a restaurant and ate a pasta or pizza.
It was a really
nice day but I think we’re all happy to see our beds again.
