Hello
everyone, today was an exhausting but AMAZING day! We woke up at 6:00 o’clock
and got breakfast at 6:30. After breakfast we were expected at the Holiday Inn
to catch our bus to the Featherdale wildlife park. In the park we had the
opportunity to feed Kangaroos, Wallabies, Pademelons and Quokkas. There were a
lot of other animals in the park for example koalas, crocodiles, different
birds, wombats and different sorts of reptiles. After we took a lot of photos and
made all the animals fat we went back to the bus.
We got on
the bus and drove to the Blue Mountains. Before we got there we stopped for a
short break to eat lunch. When we finally got to the Blue Mountains we did a 20
minute walk where we enjoyed splendid views of the Jamieson Valley and the
Three Sisters. After a long and sweaty walk we got back on the bus and headed
on to Scenic World. We rode the Scenic Railway down in to the valley and walked
in the rainforest, but we weren’t allowed to touch the trees because our guide
said we could kill them. We took the Cableway up and down stairs and enjoyed
amazing views. We got back on the bus and had a one hour drive to the port.
Luckily it was a long drive because everyone went out like a light and slept
the whole way to the port.
When we got
off the bus we thanked our guide for today, the lovely stories and information.
It was very hot when we arrived, almost 40 degrees. We got on the boat and had
a wonderful time at the upper deck. We enjoyed the sun and the view. Some of us
stayed on the upper deck but most of us went downstairs to go sit in the air
conditioning because it was very hot outside and dangerous to get sunburned.
When we got to the port we had an amazing dinner at Sydney Harbour with a
wonderful view at the skyscrapers, Harbour bridge and the boats in the water.
After dinner we walked to our hotel, got a shower and got in our soft beds,
because we all know tomorrow will be another exhausting but wonderful day...
